About the Beis Medrash

Heichal Halimmud Tiferes Yitzchak is a Bais Medrash recently opened by Yagdil Torah. Specifically geared towards learning, its advantages include a great location, good atmosphere, comfortable environment, large Seforim collection, and more.
The Heichal is open 7 days a week from 6:00 AM - 2:00 AM daily. (That's not a printing mistake!) The Heichal is located at 574 Empire Boulevard (between Kingston & Brooklyn).
The Heichal guarantees an extensive selection of resources to satisfy the likings of all members of Anash. We have an extremely wide range of both chassidus and nigleh, also available in English, with new seforim coming in every day. Access to 41,000 digital seforim is available as well.
The Heichal was dedicated by the Barber Family לע''נ הרה"ח התמים ר' יצחק בן הרה"ח ר' אליהו ז"ל on his yahrtzeit ה' אלול, August 15, 2010.
The center has also been made possible thanks to a generous grant from David Slager and Family.
Historically, Yagdil Torah had initiated the Beis Medrash concept during the summer of 5769. It was held for a few hours each week at Kollel Menachem.
“You have to learn in a Beis Midrash, in an environment of Torah, not just for you but for the people who observe you” said Rabbi Y.Y. Paltiel who helped launch the program with words of inspiration.
“…your job is to learn, daven, and 'light up' the city.… The place of a Yid is in Shul,” writes the Frierdiker Rebbe in Sefer HaSichos 5680-5687.
